Youth Soccer Frequently Asked Questions
Q:How long are the youth soccer sessions?
A: Each session includes 8 games and 8 practices and are usually 8 weeks long unless there is a major holiday during the session. To see the schedule for current season here click here.
Q: When are practices?
A: Practices are once a week on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 5pm to 8:30pm
Q: When are games?
A: In general all games are held on Saturday. In certain cases to accommodate session size some games may be played on Friday evening (usually the 11-13 age division).
Q: Can I request a specific day and time for practices?
A: When you register please include any requests in the comments box during registration. We review all requests and try to accommodate those requests as best we can. There is not a guarantee but we work hard to make it happen.
Q: Can my child play on the same team as their friend?
A: If you want your child to play on the same team as another player in the league please include that request in the comments when you register your child. In most cases we can accommodate but this request is not guaranteed
Q: How do I request a specific coach for my son/daughter?
A: Include this request during registration and we will work hard to accommodate, but it is not guaranteed.
Q: Where are games and practices held?
A: All games and practices are held at the Barn. Teams should not be holding additional practices outside of the scheduled practices at different locations.
Q: I want to get involved in coaching?
A: If you are interested in volunteering as a coach for any team please contact Kenny Barney at email@example.com to set up a time to talk about any available opportunities.
Q: What equipment does my child need to play?
A: Players should wear flat bottom shoes (i.e. running shes, indoor soccer shoes) and shinguards. Also players should bring their own water. Soccer balls are provided for practices and games.
